There’s something magical about moving with our little ones. It’s not just about exercise—it’s about connection, laughter, and showing them what it means to take care of ourselves. When I started the ‘Mummy and Me’ workout series, I knew it wasn’t just about fitness; it was about creating moments that matter.

The Power of Moving Together
So many mothers struggle to find time for themselves, let alone time to work out. I get it. Between responsibilities, endless to-do lists, and the beautiful chaos of raising children, prioritizing movement can feel impossible. But what if we stopped seeing fitness as something separate from our daily lives? What if, instead, we made it a part of the memories we create with our kids?
With every squat jump and high-five jumping jack, I saw something incredible happen—not just in me, but in my child too. Their eyes lit up with excitement. They giggled through the movements. They saw their mother strong, dedicated, and present. And that? That’s the kind of lesson no words can teach.

Small Steps, Big Impact
The workouts weren’t complicated. Simple movements like side shuffles, plank high-fives, and leg raises turned into games we could both enjoy. I found that when movement is fun, it stops feeling like a chore. It becomes something we look forward to.
This is what I want more mothers to realize: It’s not about intensity or perfection. It’s about showing up. Some days, we get a full session in. Other days, it’s five minutes of stretching between diaper changes and snack times. Both count. Both are enough.
Strength Beyond the Physical
Through this journey, I’ve learned that strength isn’t just in our muscles—it’s in the moments we push through exhaustion, in the way we choose to show up even when it’s hard. It’s in the resilience we teach our children by simply moving, growing, and making the most of each day.
So to every mother out there wondering if she has time to work out—start small. Start with what you can. Involve your child, make it playful, and most importantly, have fun with it.
Because in the end, it’s not just about fitness. It’s about presence. It’s about showing our children that taking care of ourselves is a gift we give not just to us, but to them too.
Keep moving. Keep showing up. And remember, you’re stronger than you think.
